An AVP (Alternatives to Violence Project) workshop for justice and peace workers was conducted from 17th to 19th Oct 2024 by Melanie Siow. Miss Siow was one of our former volunteers from Samaritan-Hope Home.
For the past 3 days, it was an intense workshop on a path to non-violence in our daily lives. This workshop was conducted in English and Malay.
3 of our brothers from Samaritan Hope Home, Damien, Michael, and Lechu joined this workshop. Lily, our volunteer, and myself also joined this workshop.
In total, there were 13 of us.
The 3 brothers from our Samaritan Hope Home also shared their experiences with the others at our shelter.
