Praise the Lord for a fruitful pilgrimage to Cathedral of St.John The Evangelist in this Jubilee Year of Hope on the 14th of March 2025.
We were about 25 people, volunteers, benefactors and 6 brothers from the shelter.
We left Samaritan Hope Home around 11.20am after praying the Jubilee prayer.
At the Cathedral, we were very warmly welcome by a team of volunteers.
Reading the message of Fr Gerard Theraviam:
“We extend our warm welcome to you on this spiritual journey of healing, restoration and transformation. This is a perfect time to renew your Faith and Hope in the Lord, in thanksgiving, prayer and reflection. May you be blessed in this wonderful year of grace.”
After the Eucharistic celebration, 2, videos were presented:
1st, Fr Gerard was explaining the meaning of the Jubilee,
2nd video, we learned about the history of the Cathedral.
In the end, a pilgrim passport was presented to each one of us with stamp of the Cathedral and date of pilgrimage.
At the grotto, we prayed for the intentions of Our Holy Father Pope Francis.
All of us were visible happy that we were able to make this journey of faith.
It was a wonderful and fruitful day. Glory to God.
